O anxo do desespero

O anjo do desespero (Heiner Müller)
Eu sou o anjo do desespero. Com as minhas
mãos dustribuo o êxtase, o adormecimento, o
esquecimento, gozo e dor dos corpos. Aminha
fala é o silêncio, o meu canto o grito. Na som-
bra das minhas asas mora o terror. A minha es-
perança é o último sopro. A minha esperança
é a primeira batalha. Eu sou a faca com que o
morto abre o caixão. Eu sou aquele que há-de-
-ser. O meu voo é a revolta, o meu céu o abismo
de amanhã.
The angel of despair (Heiner Müller)
I am the angel of despair. With my hands I
spread ecstasy, narcosis, oblivion, the lust and
the agony of bodies. My speech is silence, my
song is scream. Terror dwells in the shadow of
my wings. My hope is the last breath. My hope
is the first battle. I am the knife with which
the dead break open their coffin. I am who
shall be. My flight is revolt, my heaven the
abyss of tomorrow.

Nos días do medo

|

nos días do medo
cando actúa
a violencia patronal, exac-
tamente onde se revolve
o ruído negro,
na total indixencia da vida
agora, aí
funciona o concepto de incursión,
a época da máquina e da
non posibilidade de escribir
de memoria:
todo está roto,
tamén os cristais do tempo
e a organización clásica da nosa dor,
esa pantasma,
a nosa clase
in the time of fear
when it acts,
the violence of the employers,
in the very place where
black noise churns,
in the absolute indigence of life
now, there
is where the concept of incursion works,
the age of the machine and
the lack of ability to write
by heart:
everything’s broken,
even the glasses of time
and the classical organisation of our pain,
that spectre,
our class

O factor humano

|

o factor humano
velaquí
os problemas reais dunha noite
como esta: no corazón da barbarie
e aínda así sen outro remorso
que o saxofón do peter brötzmann
e a dureza incríbel da lingua,
a relación de espectros que poboa
a vida moderna e o desvío inútil
do clima. estamos
nas horas do cancro e con todo
non sabemos nada da morte,
nada do que acontece cando nos envolve
a treboada de ruínas que chamamos progreso
e unicamente procuramos
o lugar onde os días pesan menos
que o medo
the human factor
behold
the real problems on a night
like this: in the heart of inhumanity
and however the only regrets are
peter brötzmann’s sax
and the amazing harshness of language,
and the list of phantoms that inhabit
modern life and the useless wandering
of the weather. we are
in the time of cancer, yet
we know nothing about death,
nothing about what happens when
the debris surge we call progress surrounds us
and we just seek
the place where the days are lighter
than fear

Narcisismo (Lois Pereiro)
Sigo os pasos do sangue no meu corpo
e coa unlla do meu dedo máis firme
abro un suco vermello en media lúa
na vea que me acolle tan azul.
Narcissism (Lois Pereiro)
I follow the steps of blood flow
[through my body
and with the nail of my steadiest finger
I open a half-moon shaped red furrow
in the vein that receives me so blue.

Manifesto dos enfermos

manifesto dos enfermos
na historia chove igual que sobre esta cidade,
oh lord, sobre o punto
no que xa non hai marcha atrás.
o idioma perdido dos homes perdidos,
a ilusión doutro clima, a manufactura
da noite escura da alma. esa vergoña
precede ao corpo pero explica
a enfermidade: somos a distancia
que nos afasta e nos obxectos só atopamos
as cicatrices da loita de clases,
a policía do cerebro e a desordenada
memoria do valor de uso. nada
remite ao dormitorio, sequera a sucidade
xeométrica da vida, e todas estas
palabras grandes apenas serven para disimular
o campo de concentración e a deslealdade,
a incapacidade do doente á hora de se dicir,
aquel odio implacábel contra a velocidade
manifesto of the ill
it rains over history as it rains over this town,
oh lord, in the point of no return.
the lost language of lost men,
the hope for another climate, the making
of the dark night of the soul, that shame
predates the body but it explains
the illness: we are the distance
that moves us away and in the objects
[we only find
the scars of class struggle,
the brain police and the messed
memory of the use value. nothing
refers to the bedroom, not even
[the geometric
filth of life, and all these
big words are hardly able to conceal
the concentration camp and the disloyalty,
the inability of the ill man when
[it comes to admit,
that implacable hatred for speed
